The making of a Marine and future Marine Officer as he leads his men in preparation for war. His search for a lost love and the care, protection and well being of the Marines who served with him. The young woman becomes a lawyer and premier defense attorney in the Federal Court system only to discover her life is not what she wishes it to be. Afraid to enter into a relationship, committed only to her son, she is bitter and unhappy with her life; the man she loved did not come for her as he promised. It is a love story within a story of love.
About the AuthorBob Manion is a native of Spokane, Washington where he lives and writes. He has two sons, one daughter, two horses, and a cat. Bob is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and a veteran of both the regular and reserve of the United States Marine Corps. He is also a retired U. S. West Communications Manager. His collection of fanciful Santa stories, Santa’s Heroes, is due to be released in November of 2009 by Gray Dog Press. Currently, he is busy on his second contemporary romance novel.
